Mathematics as a Technology

Our vision reflects the fact that mathematics has become a key technology for industrial innovation, lying behind all work in the virtual world - simulation for prediction, control, optimization, quality assurance, and risk assessment.

Guide to Load Analysis for Automotive Applications

Truck

This project 2007 - 2009 is run in collaboration with Chalmers Mathematical Sciences, Fraunhofer ITWM, SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden, and industrial partners DaimlerChrysler, DAF, Iveco, MAN, Scania, and Volvo. From FCC participates Dr P Johannesson (project leader), Dr S Lorén, Professor J de Maré, and Professor I Rychlik.

Systems Biology and Bioimaging

Systems Biology as a Driver for Industrial Biotechnology

SysInBioLogo

In an EC funded coordination and support action FCC collaborates closely with the Systems Biology lab at Chalmers, who coordinates this 21 partner project. A joint PhD project forms the basis of a work package lead by FCC on dynamic models for design of metabolic engineering strategies.
