Anna is one of three people who have been awarded the Chalmers Pedagogical Prize 2024, which was announced last week at Chalmers’ Annual General Meeting. The Chalmers Pedagogical Prize is intended to encourage teachers’ efforts to improve and develop the conditions for student learning, in line with Chalmers’ goal of “world-class education”. The prize is worth SEK 30,000 and can be used for research, education or other professional activities.
Anna is awarded the pedagogical prize for her “creativity in making her course (and even its exam!) entertaining, resulting in students becoming more interested in the subject and deeply engaged. Her clarity of teaching, through the use of many examples and well-structured lessons, ensured that all students understood. This resulted in a high student retention through the course. She represents an example of a positive role model for many students.”
